Which is the Best Crib Mattress Pad? There are several factors to consider when buying the best mattress pad for your child’s crib.
First, you want to make sure it is firm. The mattress should not sink even if you place a heavy object on top of it.
Secondly, it should fit the entire mattress of the crib. Loose pads tend to bunch and create an unsafe environment for your child. Luckily, there are a number of options available.

Benefits of Crib Mattress Pads
As any parent can tell you, crib mattresses go through a lot. Your crib and its mattress get used for many hours a day, making them more vulnerable to wear and tear.
As more expensive baby items, it makes sense that you want to use the same crib and mattress for your baby’s first months, if not years in the case of convertible cribs. The key to making that happen is ensuring your mattress stays clean and dry (1).
Many crib mattresses now come with waterproof covering and are super easy to clean. That’s great news for accidents that reach your mattress. However, adding an extra layer of protection is a good idea for several reasons.
